How this calculation works
Estimate an NPS retirement corpus, lump sum, annuity allocation, and indicative pension. The result is calculated locally in your browser from the visible inputs, and the method below remains available for checking.
Worked example
A 25-year projection splits the estimated corpus into an entered annuity share and remaining lump sum.
Assumptions and limits
- Returns and annuity rates are constant illustrations and are not guaranteed.
- Contributions are modelled at month end; taxes, fees and asset-allocation changes are excluded.
Questions people ask
How does the NPS Calculator work?
It applies this displayed method: The effective annual return is converted to an equivalent monthly rate. Projected corpus combines current-corpus growth and month-end contributions; pension = annuity corpus × annuity rate ÷ 12. Values stay in your browser and are not submitted to a server.
What should I check before using the NPS result?
Returns and annuity rates are constant illustrations and are not guaranteed. Contributions are modelled at month end; taxes, fees and asset-allocation changes are excluded. This is an educational projection. Returns, rates, inflation, tax treatment and product rules can change.
