Go Calculator is published and operated by Shakti Prasad Ram in India. This policy applies to gocalculator.in and explains how information is handled when you use the website.
Calculator inputs and information stored on your device
Values entered into calculators are processed locally in your browser. Go Calculator does not send those values to a calculation server, require an account or store calculator histories in a user database.
On calculators with Save / compare, choosing Save stores named scenarios in this browser’s local storage. There is no site-provided sync or backup. You can delete individual scenarios, clear saved scenarios for that calculator, or remove site data through your browser settings. An individual deletion may briefly offer Undo.
Local calculation does not mean every interaction stays on your device. Sharing, exporting, printing and contacting the publisher have the separate effects described below. Avoid names, account numbers and other identifying details in scenario labels and inputs.
Sharing, downloads and printing
New “Share this scenario” links place selected calculator inputs after #scenario= in the URL. This is a readable URL fragment, not encryption or access control. Review the inputs before sharing: anyone with the link, and software with access to it, can read them.
Browsers normally do not send the fragment with the page request, but scripts on the page can read it. Older shared links may put inputs in the query string, before the # character; those URLs can reach the hosting service when opened. Browser cleanup cannot undo that earlier request. Do not share confidential or sensitive values.
CSV exports are files you choose to download. Printing uses your selected browser or print service. Deleting saved scenarios does not delete downloaded files, printed copies or links held by recipients.
Hosting and technical delivery data
The website is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare’s network. When you request a page, Cloudflare may process routine technical information such as your IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device details and security signals to deliver, secure and diagnose the service.
Cloudflare also provides traffic and performance analytics. When its Web Analytics browser beacon runs, it measures page views and page performance using information such as the page path, referring site, browser and device type. The calculator functions do not upload your inputs for analytics; infrastructure and third-party processing are separate from those functions.
Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage to track visitors and does not log URL query strings. Hosting and security request logs are separate and may contain requested URLs. Do not put sensitive information into shared URLs. Go Calculator currently has no account system or contact form.
Advertising, cookies and similar technologies
Advertising is currently disabled. Enabling Google AdSense requires a separate privacy, child-use and consent review; this policy does not mean that advertising or a certified consent platform has been activated.
If advertising is introduced, Google and participating partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers to deliver, personalise where permitted, measure and protect advertisements. Nonpersonalised ads can still involve cookies or personal data. Any launch needs disclosures and choice controls appropriate to the actual configuration.
An advertising preference may be stored in your browser when that feature is available. Browser settings let you remove local site data, but this does not delete information already received by a provider. Google’s controls concern its own advertising services.
Retention and provider responsibilities
There is no site-maintained server history of your calculations. Saved scenarios have no built-in expiry and remain in browser storage until deleted, cleared or otherwise removed by the browser. Delivery records, support messages and shared copies are separate; clearing your browser does not erase them.
Retention of other records depends on the purpose, applicable legal requirements and the service involved. A deletion request may be limited by lawful retention requirements or copies outside the publisher’s control. Ask about the particular records concerned rather than sending calculator values that the publisher never received.
For information processed by a provider on behalf of Go Calculator, direct your request to the publisher. Provider privacy policies do not replace the publisher’s responsibility for that processing. A provider may separately process information for its own purposes; its own notice and request channels apply to those activities.
Children and sensitive information
India’s DPDP framework treats people under 18 as children and places additional conditions on processing their personal data. The website does not currently provide a verified parental-consent or lawful-guardian verification process. Local calculation alone is not a guarantee that every associated service is free of personal-data processing.
Children, parents and guardians should avoid putting identifying health, financial or other sensitive information into scenario names, shared links or support messages. A parent or lawful guardian can raise a child-related privacy concern using the contact details on this page. No identity documents are needed for an initial enquiry.
Messages you choose to send
If you email the publisher, your email address and the message or attachments you include are sent to the support mailbox, currently using Gmail. Email and telephone services may also handle delivery details and communication records. This is separate from local calculator processing. Provide only the details needed for your enquiry, preferably using a made-up example instead of personal financial or health information.
Privacy requests, grievances and nomination
Email shakiram.coc@gmail.com to ask about information held by Go Calculator, request access, correction or deletion, withdraw consent where relevant, or raise a privacy grievance. A subject such as “Privacy request” is helpful but is not a requirement. You do not need a website account.
Describe the request and give only the details needed to locate a record, such as the email address previously used and an approximate contact date. For a grievance, include the concern, any earlier request reference and the outcome you seek. Do not send Aadhaar numbers, passport scans, passwords, bank details or medical records with your initial enquiry. Additional verification may be necessary before information can be disclosed; do not send identity documents without first discussing why they are needed and how to submit them.
You can ask about nominating someone to exercise applicable rights after your death or incapacity, or contact the publisher as a nominee, parent or legally authorised representative. Explain the request and relationship first rather than sending proof documents in advance. Available rights and any verification depend on the applicable law and circumstances.
The publisher cannot retrieve calculator values or saved scenarios that remain only in your browser. Use the calculator’s deletion controls or browser settings for those records; separately remove any downloaded or shared copies you control.
Indian privacy framework
India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act and final Rules have phased commencement. The main processing, consent and rights provisions are scheduled to take effect on 13 May 2027. Other applicable privacy and security requirements continue in the meantime. This page describes the service; it is not a certification of legal compliance.
